Last week, FOX Sports Southwest revealed the two cover athletes for this Summer's edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football.

Known as the 'Bible of Texas Football' being on the cover is one of the highest honors that can bestowed upon a football player in Texas.

The editors and writers of Dave Campbell's Texas Football this year decided to feature the state's two best running backs, Aledo High's Johnathan Gray, who committed to Texas, and Texas A&M's Cyrus Gray.

DCTF's Greg Tepper talked about why the Grays were selected:

It’s easy to see why Cyrus Gray was the choice: a star player who sparked a turnaround and has his team poised for what could be (and should be) a big year. With Johnathan Gray, it’s a bit tougher: after all, he’s the second main focus coverboy in DCTF history. But the numbers – over 3,000 yards and a state record 59 touchdowns – and impact on the Aledo program make him, in my mind, an excellent choice.

Dave Campbell's Texas Football is now on sale in stores across the state.
