The #23 ranked Texas Tech baseball team finished the regular season off on a good note as they completed the three game sweep of the University of West Virgina on Saturday as they won game three by a final score of 4-0.  They took game one on Thursday 4-3 and game two on Friday 3-2 on their way to finishing the season with a 40-16 record.  The Red Raiders will now face off against the University of Texas in the opening round of the Big 12 tournament.  Tech was awarded the fourth seed in this year’s conference tournament while #19 Texas was given the #5 seed.  First pitch for this game is set for 7:30pm on Wednesday from Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark in Oklahoma City and can be seen on FOX College Sports.
