The Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team will look to bounce back in game two of their three game series against TCU this weekend, as game one did not go how they expected it.  Tim Tadlock and company continued to be inconsistent at the plate as they managed just four hits in the 9-0 loss.  The Horned Frogs on the other hand, had little problems hitting yesterday as they racked up 12 hits to earn their 9 runs.

TCU's junior left-handed pitcher Brandon Finnegan held the Red Raiders in check all evening, finishing with seven shutout innings allowing just three hits with two walks and 10 strikeouts.  Finnegan closed his sixth start of the season striking out three Red Raiders in the seventh inning.

Texas Tech starting pitcher Dominic Moreno allowed more than one run in a start for the first time this season while giving up five runs on six hits in 3.2 innings with three strikeouts and five walks allowed.  Moreno, despite the low ERA, fell to 1-4 on the year with Friday night's loss.  The Red Raiders and Frogs will continue their Big 12 Conference series with game two scheduled for Saturday, Mar. 21 at Lupton Stadium at 4 p.m.
