The #24 ranked Texas Tech baseball team notched their sixth straight win on Thursday as they took game one of their three game non-conference series against Prairie View A&M by a final score of 4-3.  Freshman right-hander Ryan Mosley earned his first win as a starter for Texas Tech as he went six innings allowing a run on six hits with a strikeout and three walks.  Offensively, senior designated hitter Jake Barrios went 2-for-3 while Tyler Neslony and Eric Gutierrez each had a pair of RBI's in the win.

Tech improved to 30-11 on the season, its most wins since 2011 (33) while improving to 23-4 at home. Tech's 30 wins are more than the Red Raiders have finished the season with in six of the last seven seasons.  Tim Tadlock and company will continue their series against Prairie View A&M on Friday with first pitch set for 6:37pm from Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park and can be seen on FOX Sports SW.
