The #25 ranked Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team was looking for the series sweep of SFA as they took down the Lumberjacks 20-4 in Tuesday's contest.  Wednesday game would be much different though as SFA ended Tech's 14 game home winning streak with a 6-3 loss.  Tim Tadlock's team struggled offensively as they went scoreless during the final six innings.  SFA would take advantage and add three runs in the final two innings to take the win.  Stephen F. Austin (9-10) finished with 12 base hits while four relievers combined to pitch six shutout innings with just one hit allowed and six strikeouts.

The loss drops Tech to 17-6 on the year.  Texas Tech will be back in Big 12 play this weekend traveling to Fort Worth, Texas to take on TCU for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday series (Mar. 21-23) at Lupton Stadium.  The series opener is scheduled for Friday, Mar. 21 at 6:30 p.m.  The middle game is set for Saturday at 4 p.m. while Sunday's series finale at 1 p.m. will be televised on FOX Sports Southwest Plus.
