The Kansas City Star is reporting that Chad Ochocinco’s tryout with Sporting Kansas City won’t be over this weekend. The Cincinnati Bengals receiver, whose four-day trial with the team was scheduled to come to an end Saturday, will compete in the team’s reserve game Monday. His immediate future with the club is unknown.

Texas Tech Red Raider Baseball tonight starts their first conference home series of the season against Nebraska. Tonight’s game is 6:30 at Dan Law Field. The Red Raiders are in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in the Big 12 with a 2 and 1 conference record. Saturday’s game is at 5 o’clock and Sunday’s game is at 1 o’clock.

Texas Tech Softball tomorrow starts the Big 12 portion of their schedule against Missouri at Rocky Johnson Field. Red Raider Softball currently has a 35-1 record, while the Tigers are a more ‘pedestrian’ 22-3. Saturday’s game is at 2 o’clock and Sunday’s game is at 12 Noon at Rocky Johnson Field.

The Texas Tech Football Red & Black Spring Game takes place tomorrow at Jones AT&T Stadium. Kickoff is at 1’clock; and the focus will be on the quarterback position with Seth Doege, Jacob Karam, Scotty Young and Michael Brewer all seeing time on the field. Admission is $5 for adults, children under 18 and Tech students with a valid ID will be admitted free.
