I've played golf video games off-and-on for the past 20 years or so, dating back to "Golf" (with Mario as your golder) and "Pebble Beach Golf" on the NES.  But you rarely see the games advertised.  Well, this year EA Sports pulled out all of the stops for this year's PGA video game.

Deadspin's sister site, Kotaku, has the behind the scenes info on how the ad was produced:

Filmed in a day this February at Augusta National, the ad concept came from the San Francisco-based Heat creative agency. It was one of about five suggested and EA Sports instantly loved it. They needed to make sure Augusta National loved it, too. They did.

"Augusta National, throughout the entire process, were world class partners in terms of the level of access to their club," Evans said. "They don't take it lightly to have a crew of photographers and directors and actors and producers and production assistants running around their course."

That's pretty cool that Augusta National allowed the ad to be filmed on-site.  The only thing I can think of that would be on the same level, is being able to take batting practice at Rangers Ballpark or throwing passes at Reliant Stadium and have it be filmed for an ad.
