Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver is either a big fan of Ray Charles or loves karaoke night as he’s seen here singing Mr. Charles classic ‘Hit the Road Jack’ after being chased in the fourth inning of Sunday nights loss against the Rangers.

It was Weaver’s shortest outing in three years and matched his career worst surrendering eight runs in three and a third innings of work.

Texas defeated the Angels Sunday night 13-6 to take two of three. The Rangers sit atop the AL West at 23-12, five games ahead of second place Oakland (18-17) while the Angels (15-20) sit at the bottom of the division eight games back of Texas.

In other Ranges news, the bat that slugger Josh Hamilton used to become the 16th player in Major League history to hit four home runs in a game is headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Hamilton, who hit eight of his nine home runs in the six-day span over the past week with the bat, broke it on an RBI single in the seventh inning of the Rangers win over the Angels Sunday.
