One of the bigger question marks going into the season for the Red Raiders was who would be the go-to receiver this season. Most people thought it would be T.J. Vasher, but true freshman QB Alan Bowman has found a go-to guy who just happened to be put on a very prestigious award watch list after the big victory over Oklahoma State.

The Biletnikoff Award annually recognizes the nation’s top receiver (regardless of position). Texas Tech great Michael Crabtree brought home the honor in 2007 and 2008, making him the first player in the history of the award to win in back-to-back years.

Antoine "Tweezy" Wesley has been very impressive in the first few games for the Red Raiders this season. He's hauled in 30 receptions on the year for 511 yards, and also has tacked on four touchdowns to date.

Wesley and the No. 25 Red Raiders return home to face their second ranked opponent in as many weeks, hosting no. 12 West Virginia at 11 a.m. Saturday inside Jones AT&T Stadium.

The game will be televised on ESPN2, as well as on the ESPN app. The 1340 The Fan Countdown to Kickoff show starts that day at 8:30 a.m. Listen with the free 1340 The Fan app, online at our website or on the air at 1340 AM.
