An arrest warrant released Wednesday, December 2 confirmed 22-year-old Bobby Wayne Livesay was drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana in the moments before a deadly car accident.

The accident occurred in the 2300 block of West Loop 289 in Lubbock on Friday, November 27.

A blood sample taken from Livesay after he was arrested confirmed what started out as suspicion when officers smelled marijuana at the crash site.

Over seven ounces of marijuana would later be confiscated from Livesay by police.

Livesay is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter, possession of marijuana and evading arrest. He is also accused of violating the terms of his parole from a previous criminal case.

Twenty-five-year-old Antwone Livesay, 23-year-old Rodrick Keys and 19-year-old Marcus Fay were all killed in the accident.
