The Astros maintained the division lead last night with a walk off home run. Marwin Gonzalez crushed a dinger in the 10th inning off the Rays Brad Boxberger to give the Astros a 3-2 win on Tuesday night at Minute Maid Park.

Rangers fans may remember Marwin from his part in breaking up a Yu Darvish perfect game bid in 2013. Marwin was the 27th batter in Darvish's masterpiece when he took a first pitch fastball right back up the middle for a hit, ruining the perfect game and no hitter in the process.

Luke Gregerson (6-2, ERA 3.06) got the win for the Astros. Gregerson has 23 saves this season in 48 appearances.

That keeps the Astros at 2.5 games in front of the Angels, who beat the White Sox 5-3, and four games in front of the Rangers, who lost to the Mariners 3-2.

The Astros go for the rubber match with former Red Raider Nathan Karns (7-5, 3.53 ERA) will be throwing for the Rays against Astros ace Dallas Keuchel (14-6, 2.36 ERA) who will try to boost his home resume where he is currently 11-0 with a 1.26 ERA.
