Cole Shooter
Cole Shooter, a Lubbock native, attended Lubbock High School and holds a degree in Political Science from Texas Tech University, where he minored in music performance, specifically voice, organ, and carillon. He hopes to attend the Texas Tech School of Law following an MBA from Wayland Baptist University.Cole has led numerous political organizations around Lubbock and Texas Tech, in addition to being the former president of Tech's Zeta Sigma chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, the nation's oldest men's music fraternity, and the Tech Guild of Carilloneurs.He was an opinions columnist for Tech's Daily Toreador from August 2006 to December 2010, and Cole's columns have been featured in Gwen Ifill's Washington Week, the Jewish Collegiate Weekly, as well as other publications.Cole has been a news anchor at KFYO since February 2007.
