The Preseason accolades continues to pile up for Texas Tech junior Barret Barnes. After being named the No. 8 collegiate outfielder in the country by Perfect Game last week, Barnes has been named to the preseason third team All-America by Perfect Game.

Barnes has been a bright spot for the Red Raiders the last two seasons, batting .316 over the course of his career. He has 118 runs, 34 doubles, three triples, 24 home runs, 91 RBI and 31 stolen bases in his two seasons at Texas Tech. Last season he was named a member of the first team All-Big 12 after batting .290 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs.
