Barstools are a nice addition to your home, and they can be quite comfortable. But one thing they are not supposed to do is break at the joints.

TJX Brands, better known as TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls are recalling the swivel barstool you see above because they can break at the joints causing possible injury.

The company is offering a refund on these items since they cannot be repaired and you are encouraged not to use them. I have confirmed with a Homegoods employee in Lubbock, who wished to remain anonymous, that the Lubbock location did have at least three of these stools in stock at one point.
