Baylor Lady Bears Demolish Texas Tech Lady Raiders

The #1 Baylor Lady Bears continued their dominance over the Texas Tech Lady Raiders Tuesday night in Waco as Baylor beat Texas Tech 89-47.
Brittney Griner had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Griner also had 7 blocked shots and 5 assists. Odyssey Sims led Baylor with 18 points, 6 steals and 5 assists.
Texas Tech struggled with ball possession in the blowout by committing 20 turnovers.
Chynna Brown was Tech’s leading scorer with 15 points. Monique Smalls was the only other Lady Raider to score in double digits. She had 10 points.
The Lady Raiders next game is Sunday against Texas with a 2:30p tip-off at the United Spirit Arena. Texas Tech will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the 1993 National Championship during Sunday’s game.
