The Texas Rangers gambled starting Scott Feldman. Lucky for the Rangers, it paid off in the biggest way as the Rangers took down to New York Yankees 7-3. Feldman, who can now be billed as the Rangers "6th starter" pitched 3 1/3 innings, giving up 2 runs. While Feldman played well, the real story of the night was rookie reliever Robbie Ross. Ross entered the game pitching 2 2/3 perfect innings, earning his AL best 4th victory.

Another highlight of the night was Adrian Beltre smacking a homer in the 2nd off of Yankees starter Phil Hughes. The shot went an estimated 441 feet, and was his third of the season.

Mike Napoli and Mitch Moreland also homered for the Yankees, who improved to 15-4 on the season. The win also gave the Rangers their sixth series win on the season.
