Boston Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett made the day of one young fan on Thursday. Beckett walked out of the bull pen on his way to the mound to pitch against the Kansas City Royals when he noticed a young fan taking a picture of him. Beckett walked up to young Dylan Silvia and handed him the baseball after having his picture taken.

Young Dylan was so overwhelmed by the gesture that he immediately broke down crying with joy. Dylan attended that game with his father, Shannon, and grandfather, Bob. It was the time that all three generations attended a game together.
A touching moment for Dylan who said in an interview with NESN that Beckett was his favorite player.
