This 25-year-old actress and singer began her career as a child in Broadway productions of ‘Ragtime’ and ‘Les Miserables’.

She was born in New York City. Her mother is a nurse and her father, a delicatessen owner. She attended Rockland Country Day School in elementary school and she graduated from Tenafly High School.

She was accepted into the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, but instead continued to work professionally on the stage.

In 1995, she made her Broadway debut as a replacement in the role of Young Cosette in ‘Les Miserables’, followed by the role of Tateh’s daughter, the Little Girl, in the 1998 original Broadway cast of ‘Ragtime’. In 2004, she played Sphritze in the Broadway revival of the musical ‘Fiddler on the Roof’.

She is active in charities for animal rights.
