The creepy clown craze has gone on long enough for one county in Mississippi.

According to FOX News, Kemper County supervisors this week passed a clown ban. The ban means that residents are no longer allowed to dress as clowns, wear clown masks or even wear clown makeup. It wasn't immediately made clear how much makeup constitutes as clown makeup.

The ban on clowns continues until after Halloween and anyone caught dressed like a clown could have to pay a $150 fine. According to FOX News, the ban was passed out of public safety and that "people could react badly if they get scared by a clown in their yard."

With Halloween around the corner and creepy clowns still scaring people, the small county in Mississippi may not be the last to pass a ban on clowns.
