The NFL on Thursday released the 2013 schedules for all 32 teams.  The Dallas Cowboys will play five nationally televised games, with one of them taking place during ESPN's Monday Night Football.

According to DallasCowboys.com, the last time the Cowboys played home games at the start and end of the season occurred in 1998. Also, for the second time in five years (2009), the Cowboys will play the Oakland Raiders on Thanksgiving Day.

Additional schedule highlights from DallasCowboys.com:

  • The Cowboys won’t play a 2012 playoff team until October, when they face Denver and Washington in consecutive weeks. The Cowboys start the season against the Giants, Kansas City, St. Louis and San Diego.
  • The Cowboys will play at Chicago for the first time since 2007, which was a Sunday night game. This time they play the Bears on Monday night.
  • This will be the first road Monday night game for the Cowboys in six years, when they beat Buffalo 25-24 in one of the biggest comebacks in franchise history.
