Dallas Cowboys Nose Tackle Josh Brent Indicted For Teammate Death

Dallas Cowboys Nose Tackle Josh Brent has been formally indicted on one count of intoxication manslaughter.
The charge is from a Dec. 8 accident in which the car that he was driving, hit a curb and flipped, causing the death of teammate Jerry Brown. Brent is currently free on $100,000 bond.
Brent could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison if convicted of intoxication manslaughter, however, he could be eligible for probation. Dallas County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Debbie Denmon says that a court date has not been set. Brent is currently on the reserve/non-football illness list and will not play for the rest of the season.
