Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Jay Ratliff was arrested early Tuesday for DWI after he was involved in an accident.

Ratliff was involved in an accident in Grapevine, TX in which the pickup truck that he was driving sideswiped a semitrailer Truck on Texas 114.  When the police showed up, Ratliff failed a sobriety test and refused to take a breath test.  Grapevine police officer Sam Shemwell said that they obtained a blood sample from Ratliff for BAC testing.

Ratliff's case will go to the Tarrant County district attorney's office in Fort Worth, TX.  Ratliff could face up to six months in jail if found guilty of this charge.  Ratliff only played in six games this season because of ankle and groin injures.
