Dallas Cowboys Release Tight End Colin Cochart

The Dallas Cowboys freed up roster space yesterday as they released tight end Colin Cochart. This comes just two weeks after claiming Cochart off of waivers from the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cochart was added to the roster after concerns over the injured star tight end Jason Witten. Witten hasn’t missed any time due to the injury and started the Cowboys opener against the Giants. With Witten not missing time, the Cowboys made the decision to cut Cochart.
The Dallas Cowboys return to action on Sunday when they travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.
