The Dallas Cowboys have confirmed that the injury that running back DeMarco Murray suffered during the Cowboys' 31-29 loss against the Baltimore Ravens is just a foot sprain.

According to dallascowboys.com, the MRI results showed no broken bones, but some ligament damage that could bench Murray for this weekend's game and future games in the season.  Murray was upset after the game because he wasn't allowed to go back in.  Murray said "I wanted to, but I have to do what's best for the whole team.  It's a long season."

Dallas will have to rely on Felix Jones, Phillips Tanner and Lance Dunbar to carry the load at running back until DeMarco Murray is ready to go.  Felix Jones had his best performance of the season in last Sunday's game with 18 carries for 92 yards and one touchdown.

The Cowboys take on Carolina on Sunday.  Kickoff is at Noon.
