The Dallas Cowboys faced off against the Miami Dolphins this weekend as the fans got what will probably be there last look at the starters before the regular season.  Dallas' starters did little to impress on Saturday as they offensively they were held to just six points in the first half.  They would go on to lose the game by a final score of 25-20 to fall to 0-3 this preseason.

Tony Romo made his second appearance of the preseason in this game but was unable to really find any momentum offensively.  In his lone half of play, he threw for 87 yards on 10 of 18 passing with no touchdowns or interceptions.  He also got a chance to test out his surgically repaired back as the Cowboys offensive line allowed three sacks with Romo in the game.  As a whole, Dallas managed just 251 total yards while Miami was able to rack up nearly 500 (490 total yards) yards against the Cowboys defense.

With the loss, Dallas now has just one game to figure out who will make the final cut of this football team for the regular season.  They will have their match up against the Denver Broncos this week to make those final decisions.  Kickoff for that game is set for Thursday at 7pm from AT&T Stadium in Arlington and you can hear all the action right here on Sports Radio 1340 the FAN.
