Dallas Keuchel came into last night's contest with a team high seven wins on the year.  He was able to notch his eighth at the hands of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday night as he went eight strong innings while giving up just one run on four hits and striking out five.

Offensively, Chris Carter provided the sparks for Houston as he hit two home runs yesterday as he continued his hot hitting streak he has been on.  The slugger, who has been hitting under .200 for all of the season, hit two more homers Wednesday, giving him 12 for the season.  He has six homers and 12 RBIs in his last 13 games and is slugging .743 over that span.  Rookie George Springer also had a nice game as he added two hits of his own, with an RBI and a run scored in the win.

Houston will wrap up their four game mid-week series against the D-backs today with first pitch for that game set for 7:10pm from Minute Maid Park in Houston.  The pregame is set to start at 6:45pm and you can catch all the action right here on Sports Radio 1340 the FAN.
