The Dallas Mavericks beat the Toronto Raptors last night 109-104.

O.J Mayo and Chris Kaman led Dallas in scoring with 22 points each.  The Mavericks jumped out to a 16-point lead early in the second quarter to set the tone in the game.  They were without fowards Shawn Marion and Elton Brand.  Marion missed the game due to a sprained knee ligament and Brand missed the game due to the birth of his second child.

On the other side of the court, Andrea Bargnani led the Raptors in scoring with 25 points.  DeMar DeRozan contributed with 24 points in a losing effort for Toronto.  They were without guard Kyle Lowry who sprained his right ankle Tuesday night in the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With the win, Dallas improves to 4-1 for the first time since the 2007-08 season.  They are back in action on Friday when they travel to New York to take on the red hot undefeated Knicks.  Tip off is at 6:30 pm.
