The Dallas Mavericks ended a six game losing streak yesterday by beating the Washington Wizards 103-94.

Vince Carter led the Mavericks in scoring with 23 points.  O.J. Mayo and Darren Collison contributed with 15 points each and Chris Kaman rounded out the scoring with 12 points.  Dallas ralled from a 14-point deficit in the second quarter and then outscored the Wizards 35-19 in the third quarter to take a 12-point lead into the fourth quarter.

On the other side of the court, Bradley Beal led the Wizards in scoring with 22 points.  Emeka Okafor and Martell Webster contributed with 14 points each and Kevin Seraphin rounded out the scoring with 10 points.  Washington scored eight straight points to cut a 99-84 lead to a seven point deficit late in the fourth quarter but were unable to hold off a late surge by Dallas in order to win the game.

Dallas hits the road to take on the Miami Heat tonight.  Tip off is at 6:30 pm.
