The Dallas Mavericks were unable to outlast the NBA champs last night as they fell to the Miami Heat 119-109 in overtime.

O.J. Mayo led the Mavericks in scoring with 30 points.  Dirk Nowitzki contributed with 19 points, Vince Carter had 15 points, Chris Kaman had 14 points and Darren Collison rounded out the scoring with 11 points.  Dallas has an 0-6 record in overtime this season.

On the other side of the court, LeBron James led the Heat in scoring with 32 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists.  Dwayne Wade contributed with 27 points, Chris Bosh had 17 points and Ray Allen rounded out the scoring with 15 points.  Miami started overtime on a 7-0 run to lead them to victory.

Dallas returns to action on Saturday at home when they take on the New Orleans Hornets.  Tip off is at 7:30 pm.
