The Dallas Mavericks were unable to pull off the road victory as they fall to the Utah Jazz 100-94.

Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavericks in scoring with 20 points.  Chris Kaman contributed with 14 points.  O.J. Mayo had 13 points and Darren Collison rounded out the scoring with 11 points.  Dallas was held to 14 points total in the fourth quarter and have lost 12 of their last 14 games.

On the other side of the court, Gordon Hayward led the Jazz in scoring with 27 points.  Al Jefferson contributed with 15 points and 11 rebounds.  Paul Milsap had 14 points and Alec Burks rounded out the scoring with 13 points.  Utah sealed the game by making 4 of 6 free throws at the end.

The Mavericks will have to find a way to shake off this defeat because they face a tough test with one of the hottest teams in the NBA when they hit the road to take on the Los Angeles Clippers tomorrow.  Tip off is at 9:30 pm.
