Dallas Mavericks Suspend Guard Delonte West, Again.
For the second time this preseason the Dallas Mavericks have suspended guard Delonte West. He was suspended after a game against Houston on Oct. 15 for “conduct detrimental to the team” before being reinstated 22 hours later.
The Mavericks used the same language in this suspension as well.
“We have suspended Delonte for conduct detrimental to the team,” President of Basketball Operations Donnie Nelson said. “The suspension is effective immediately and no other statements will be issued.”
West has played in all seven games for Dallas so far this preseason, averaging 5.0 points, 2.0 assists and 1.3 rebounds in 17.6 minutes per game.
West did what all smart athletes do when they’re upset and took to his twitter account @CharleeRedz13:
