Dallas Mavericks Tame The Minnesota Timberwolves 113-98

The Dallas Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves yesterday 113-98.

Darren Collison led the Mavericks in scoring with 23 points.  O.J. Mayo and Elton Brand contributed with 20 points each.  Mayo also had nine assists in the game.  Dirk Nowitzki, Chris Kaman and Vince Carter rounded out the scoring with 10 points each.

On the other side of the court, J.J. Barea led the Timberwolves in scoring with 21 points.  Nikola Pekovic contributed with 20 points in a losing effort.  Dante Cunningham rounded out the scoring with 12 points.  Minnesota was unable to win any of the four games that they played during this road trip.

Dallas returns to action tomorrow night to take on in state rival Houston Rockets at home.  Tip off is at 7 pm.
