Davis Webb and Le'Raven Clark have been the focal point for most of the 2014 off-season as both have received numerous accolades.  With that being said, both were named to national watch lists yesterday as Webb was named to the Manning Award Preseason watch list while the junior offensive lineman has been named as a USA Today Preseason Second Team All-American.

Webb (pictured on the left) has established himself as the clear leader of the 2014 Red Raiders, following an outstanding performance in the Holiday Bowl where he threw for 403 yards and four touchdowns in a 37-23 win over #16 Arizona State.  Webb is the fourth quarterback in school history to be named to the Manning Award Preseason Watch list, Graham Harrell, Taylor Potts and Seth Doege.

Clark (pictured below) is widely considered as one of the best linemen in the country following a stellar sophomore season in 2013.  He is a preseason First Team All-Big 12 selection and is on both the Lombardi and Outland Award watch lists.  Texas Tech will kickoff their season on August 30th when they welcome Central Arkansas to Lubbock.
