With the ongoing rains in Daytona Beach, Florida; NASCAR has announced that the Daytona 500 has been delayed again to 6:02p CST tonight. The race was to be run at 11a CST today, after yesterday's rainout.

The race will still be broadcast on FOX.

NASCAR President Mike Helton said this morning, "Through the evening and as we collaborated this morning with all the stakeholders, Joie from the racetrack, weather experts and other industry folks, including the broadcast partners and other representatives, based on the weather forecast that everybody has convinced us of from here through mid afternoon, 60, 70, 80 percent chances of rain, we're going to wait in announcing right now that the effort to run the Daytona is now shifting from noon until 7 p.m. this afternoon."

Yesterday's postponement was the first postponement of the Daytona 500 in the 54 years the race has been run.

No word if Kate Upton, the Daytona 500 Grand Marshall, will attend tonight's race.
