DeMarco Murray set a Cowboys franchise-record 253 yards rushing to lead the Dallas Cowboys to a 34-7 victory over the pedestrian St. Louis Rams Sunday afternoon in Arlington.

Murray took his first carry of the game to house for a 91-yard touchdown to set the tone against the NFL's worst rush defense. Dallas ran for 294 yards total in the game.

Tony Romo had to do little through the game as the Cowboys were dominant on the ground. Romo was 14 of 24 for 166 yards with two scores and no interceptions.

Dallas took a 14-0 lead after a Romo to Jason Witten 1 yard touchdown pass early in the second quarter capping a 7-play, 62 yard drive. The Rams would answer with their only score of the game on a 6 yard Steven Jackson run.

Dallas improved to 3-3 on the season and will travel next Sunday night to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. Coverage of Dallas and Philadelphia begins at 6:30pm Sunday night on 1340 The Fan.
