Derek Holland threw seven innings giving up one run and Ian Kinsler hit a two-run homer to pace the Texas Rangers past the Milwaukee Brewers 4 to 1 Wednesday night.

Holland (3-2) gave up his lone run in the sixth inning off an double from Aramis Ramirez scoring Ryan Braun. Adrian Beltre drove in Kinsler in the first inning on an RBI Single off Brewers starter Kyle Lohse (1-4).

Kinsler would come back in the 2nd inning and hit solo home run to give Texas a 2-0 lead in the game. Kinsler finished the game going 3 for 5 at the plate.

The Rangers have Thursday off to travel to Houston to face the Astros for a three-game weekend series starting Friday at Minute Maid Park.

Houston defeated the Los Angeles Angels Wednesday night 3 to 1. The Astros go for the sweep tonight.
