Thursday night marked one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of the year as the NFL put on their annual players draft from Music City Radio Hall in New York City.  The Houston Texans made what many say was the smart move with the number one overall pick as they selected South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney.  It was the first time since 2006 that a defensive player was selected with the first selection of the NFL draft.  The Texans made that pick as well as they picked Mario Williams number one that year.  Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manzeil was the talk of the draft last night but it was for how far he dropped as he fell all the way to the Cleveland Browns with the 22nd pick in the first round.  He even made it past Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys at the 16th pick where they choose Notre Dame offensive tackle Zack Martin.  Rounds two and three will take place tonight with all the action happening on ESPN 2 starting at 6pm.  That brings us to our fan poll of the day.
