Directions to Buffalo Springs Lake for Awesome 98’s Summer Splash [Video]

Not all of us have lived in Lubbock a long time, and even some of us who have don't know exactly where Buffalo Springs Lake is. So we wanted to make it easy-peasy to get there for our Summer Splash this Saturday, May 21.

The easiest route is to take Loop 289 east to the I-27 exit.

Once on I-27, you will take the 50th St. exit and go right (or east),

Follow 50th St. all the way out past MLK, past Loop 289 and keep on keepin' on.

You will turn right onto County Road 3000 and travel for one mile, then take a left on High Meadow Road.

Stop at the gate and present your gate fee.

Once you're through the main gate, take the first right onto Pony Express Trail.

At the bottom of the hill, take a right and follow the road around the lake to the Meadow Stage.

You're allowed to bring a cooler (just no glass!), lawn chairs, blankets and whatever else you need to be comfortable have a blast with us.

Whips N Kisses take the stage at 8 p.m. and will play until 11 p.m.
