Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints Agree to a Record Five Year $100 Million Contract

With the ink now dry on the contract, Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a record five year, $100 million contract. Brees and the Saints agreed to the deal on Friday, but it was not signed until Sunday.

Brees is one of the most highly touted members of the NFL right now, and with it being a quarterback driven league, Brees may very well make more of a difference at New Orleans than any one else in the league. Brees is also the all-time single season passing leader with 5,476 passing yards. Brees is also the fastest player in NFL history to reach 40,000 yards.
