Eric Thames’ Literally has Lightning in his Feet Making Sparks as he Chases Down A Foul Ball[VIDEO]

Camden Yards Could have burned down, and the culprit was something you would never expect, a pair of cleats.
In the third inning of a match-up between the Seattle Mariners and the Baltimore Orioles, Eric Thames was attempting to chase down a foul ball when his cleats ran across a metal place leading into stadium storage. What happened next was something rarely seen on a baseball field, sparks literally flew from his cleats. The last time, and only time I can remember seeing this before in recent memory was a foul ball hitting Alex Avila in his catchers mask, causing sparks to fly.
Don’t believe me? Check out the video of Eric Thames’ sparks and Avila’s as well.
