ESPN’s Longhorn Network Adds UTSA Football

Yesterday, ESPN announced the new Longhorn Network channel will broadcast five University of Texas-San Antonio Roadrunner football games this season. The first Roadrunners game on the Longhorn Network will be Saturday’s matchup against McMurray.
UT-San Antonio is playing as an independent in its first season before joining the WAC next year. The Roadrunners are coached by Larry Coker, who led the Miami Hurricanes to the 2001 national championship.
The network that showcases University of Texas sports broadcast the Longhorns’ season-opening win against Rice, and is scheduled to have the Texas-Kansas game on October 29, in addition to the UTSA games.
