ESPN & USA Today released their preseason coaches’ poll Thursday afternoon with North Carolina nearly being a unanimous No. 1 selection, picking up 30 of 31 first-place votes.

Kentucky claimed the other first-place vote and checked in at second in the poll, followed by Ohio State, UConn and Syracuse to round out the Top 5.

The Big 12 was represented by 4 teams in the top 25 with Baylor sitting the highest at 12, followed Kansas at 13, Texas A&M checked in at 19th and Missouri earned the 25th ranking.
