The South Plains Hot Air Balloon Round Up will light up the Lubbock sky on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, September 7.
The launches are scheduled each morning at 7:30 a.m., and the night glow will be at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
In addition, The Haven, Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue and the SPCA will be in attendance to offer fun events.
The SPCA will host a car show at 9 a.m. near the amphitheater. Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue will host a kissing booth.
Other events include face painting, raffles and pet adoptions.
