Get there early to get a good spot

Whether you are going to enjoy the lake for the day and take in the fireworks and head home or you plan on camping, all sites are first come, first serve. The early bird gets the worm! Reservations aren't accepted.

    Fun for the kids, too

Knockerball Lubbock will be at the event with their gigantic inflatable balls which are a blast for kids of all ages! There will also be a petting zoo for the kids in the camping area.

  • 3

The fireworks show is free with your paid gate admission

Cost of admission is $8 for persons 12 and up. Kiddos 6-11 years old are $3, and kids under 5 get in free. Seniors 65 years and older are just $2.

  • 4

    Free Live Music

Greg Maldo will provide live music leading up to the fireworks extravaganza!

  • 5

Bring lawn chairs, sunscreen and insect repellent

You will be at the lake a while, so you want to be comfortable and have fun! So bring lawn chairs, blankets, sunscreen for you and the kids and insect repellent. The new citronella bracelets work great if you don't like the Deet sprays.

Coolers are allowed, but absolutely no glass

You are welcome to bring coolers, snacks, beverages and adult beverages, but ABSOLUTELY no glass. The Marina will be open, so if you decide to watch the fireworks from the Marina you won't be able to have your cooler inside.

The best place to view the fireworks will be by the Marina

You'll be able to see the grand display, beginning at dark, from anywhere around the lake. But we're partial to the Marina.

Be patient, alert and careful when you leave the lake

There is one way in and one way out of the lake. Take it easy, relax and take your time exiting the lake and you'll be on the rode home before you know it.

Plus, the main thing to remember: Lubbock police will be out in force for the 4th of July holiday weekend. There are so many reason to not drink and drive, especially keeping you, your family and everyone else on the road safe.
