If you like German beer, German sausage, and German everything, then you’ll be happy to know that Bier Haus Lubbock, at 2009 Broadway Street, is hosting their first ever Oktoberfest Thursday, September 27th thru Sunday, September 30th, 2018.

There will be live entertainment every day, face painting, stein holding contests, and we can’t leave out the yodeling contest!

"I always loved traveling to Oktoberfest, and I'm excited to host one here in Lubbock," said Bier Haus Lubbock owner Tommy Bonner in a press release. "This is our inaugural year, but we hope the event will be well received and we can grow the event for years to come."

Entry is just $5 each day (kids 5 and under get in free), and it's free entry for everyone all day Sunday.

Bier Haus will also be hosting a Miss Oktoberfest Pageant and a $60 per person VIP dinner, which require early registration. You can do that Here.

Some of the German-inspired treats include sausage on a stick, pork schnitzels on a stick, sausage and sauerkraut pitas and German potato cakes. The beer selections will include several Oktoberfest and German varieties, as well as domestic favorites.

It will be cash-only purchases at the event (there will be an ATM on-site). Advanced entry wristbands and food tickets can be purchased online at: www.BierHausLubbock.com/Oktoberfest
