Former Red Raider Chris Ward Talks About His Golf Career on the Williams & Hyatt Show [AUDIO]

Former Red Raider stand-out golfer Chris Ward joined the Williams & Hyatt Show to discuss his playing time at Texas Tech. Ward also talked about playing in the Hooters tournaments, and what was the biggest transition from playing in college to trying to make it professional.

"Especially right now on these mini-tours you have to play well just to break even on the travel expenses," Ward said.

Ward also touched on how a young golfer goes about getting sponsors and people to buy into him as a player.

"I've be fortunate and been with Titleist since I was 15, so that wasn't to hard 'cause I had a really good reputation with them already," Ward said.
