Former Red Raiders Janice Farris, Keith Kitchens and Stan Bonewitz Talk Basketball on Sportsline [AUDIO]

It was a Red Raider basketball triple-play on the Thursday edition of Sportsline as Steve Dale and Coach Rodney Allison talked with former Lady Raiders women’s basketball player Janice Farris, and former Red Raider men’s basketball players Keith Kitchens and Stan Bonewitz.

First up, Steve and Rodney spoke with Janice Farris, who was part of the 1993 Lady Raiders National Championship team. Farris spoke about her time on the championship team, and what she believes was the key component in her team’s outstanding victory that year.

Next up, we spoke with Keith Kitchens, who told us about his experiences as a Red Raider basketball player, as well as his experiences caching both basketball and football in Shallowater.

Finally, we spoke with Stan Bonewitz, who is currently in his 8th season of coaching and Concordia University in Austin, Texas. Bonewitz talked about his time playing for the Red Raiders, as well as where he thinks his talent for the game came from.
