Lubbock is making headlines for more than rainfall.

A new study from Fortune.com has named the Hub City one of the best cities to find a job in 2015.

Fortune combined Census population data with Bureau of Labor Statistics to see how unemployment rates vary across the country.

With an unemployment rate of only 3 percent, Lubbock broke into the top five at no. 4. The two other Texas cities that made Fortune's top 10 list are Austin, Texas (no. 3) and San Antonio (no. 7).

"It’s great to be recognized by a company like Fortune for the growth opportunities that are taking place," said John Osborne, Lubbock economic development alliance president and CEO [quote via Lubbock Avalanche-Journal]. "Our population continues to grow. Businesses are hiring and with the school systems that we have here there is a lot of opportunities for businesses to continue to grow."

Fortune named Texas Tech, Covenant Health, University Medical Center, United Supermarkets and Convergys as Lubbock's largest employers. So if you're needing a job, these places are where to look.
