The family has other family to stay with and did not require shelter from the Red Cross, but friends Lexi Brooke and Phylicia Mickens are asking for donations of clothing and essential items to help the family. Alan and Breanna Owen's family of coworkers at Billiards Plus and the Silver Bullet bars in Lubbock have set up donation jars at their establishments; so, if you finally beat the snow and go out for a drink, be sure to donate.
