Groundbreaking on New Rawls Course Clubhouse This Saturday

The long awaited groundbreaking of the new clubhouse at the Rawls Golf Course will take place this Saturday, July 9th at 10 am in Lubbock.

The $3.7 million clubhouse which hosts Texas Tech's golf programs will enhance the course as one of the top facilities in the country for college run golf courses.

Private donations were raised to  fund the cost of the construction and was approved at the Texas Tech University Board of Regents meeting this past May.

Various Texas Tech dignitaries will be present including Chancellor Kent Hance, President Guy Bailey, and Athletics Director Kirby Hocutt.
